Visit to Trentino and South Tyrol (Italy)
From October 25 to October 28 a group of members of the Association and other European Journalists from several European countries visited the Region Trentino South Tyrol, in Italy.
The program took place under the moto : “Growing European, Developing International and Keeping Local Identity in a Boarder Region”.
The purpose of the visit was fourfold:
- to get to know how a territory that was very poor after WWII has managed to promote with special autonomy to develop and become one of the most prosperous regions of Europe;
- to understand how a small boarder area has promoted and achieved high international development;
- to learn about the experiences of peaceful coexistence among linguistic groups considered to be sseeeeeeeerrt557’
- ugx a world example.
- to bring together European journalists from different countries, cultures and professional experiences to discuss about communicating Europe.
