EJ condemns as assassination of Pavel Sheremet and urges deep investigation

The European Journalists Association-The Communication Network” (EJ) strongly condemns the brutal assassination of the prominent courageous  journalists Pavel Sheremet, a champion of the freedom of the press.

He has paid with his still young live his generous and convinced fighting for freedom of expression even if he was aware of the dangers he was running.

EJ urges the relevant authorities to conduct deep investigation to find   instigators and who carried out the assassination.

EJ feels closed to the relatives of the victim and are with all the colleagues of the region committed to perform their journalistic activity motivated by spirit of freedom of expression.
